While our early days featured a smaller office and a different sign, our dedication to our clients has never wavered. They are at the heart of everything we do, making them feel like an integral part of the BWO family. Founder/Owner

After graduating from high school, Tom attended UW-Stevens Point. He began his career in the insurance industry in 1982. Just a year later, Tom had the opportunity to join his father in the family business—a decision that shaped the course of his professional life. In 2000, Tom proudly purchased the agency from his father, continuing the family legacy and strengthening his commitment to serving the community.

In 2017, BWO reached another milestone by purchasing their first building, which remains the home base of operations today.

Family has always been at the heart of everything Tom does. He is incredibly proud to have all three of his children working alongside him in the agency—it's a joy to build something lasting together. Outside of work, Tom enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time on the golf course whenever he gets the chance.

Owner

Greg Budzisz is part owner of Budzisz Agency, Inc., one of the two partner agencies that make up BWO Insurance. Greg joined BWO in 2009 to work alongside his father, Tom, and became owner in 2017. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, where he earned a degree in Finance, giving him a strong foundation for advising clients on risk management and financial protection. As a RamseyTrusted Advisor through the Dave Ramsey program, Greg is committed to helping clients feel confident that they're properly protected with the right coverage for their family, home, and business.

Outside of work, Greg is married and has two children. He enjoys cheering on all Wisconsin sports teams, golfing, skiing, perfecting his lawn, and traveling with his wife and kids. Greg is also active in coaching youth sports for both his daughter and son and finds it rewarding to help kids develop values such as teamwork, confidence, and work ethic through sports.

Owner

Michael Osborne is the owner of the Osborne Agency LLC, one of two partner agencies that make up BWO Insurance. Michael joined BWO in 1993 (then Budzisz-Wruck & Associates), to work alongside his father Don. Michael's favorite part of his day is helping customers properly protect the things that they value most.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with family and friends. Much of his free time has been devoted to cheering on or coaching his three children in their various activities. He is also very active in fundraising efforts for several groups at his high school alma mater.

Insurance Companies

At BWO, our job is to make sure your claim is handled quickly, fairly, and with clear communication every step of the way. While practices and procedures can vary depending on your insurance type and carrier, you can rest assured—we’ll guide you through the process and keep everything on track.

In most cases, we can let you know in advance what to expect. And if questions come up, we’re just a phone call away at (414) 768-8100.

To better assist you, many of our carriers also offer 24-hour direct claim reporting services. Before calling, please have your policy number and claim details ready. Once you’ve submitted your claim, the insurance carrier will automatically forward a copy of the report to our office.
